Dr Wunnenberg is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Post-Master’s Nurse Educator Certificate Program Director at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, School of Nursing Camden. She holds an EdD from the University of Alabama with a focus in Instructional Leadership and Curriculum Development and a MSN from Drexel University. She has an extensive clinical background in diverse acute care settings and over sixteen years of experience teaching nursing in both the classroom and clinical settings. The foundation of her scholarship and research focuses on integrating feminist care ethics with colleagues, students, and vulnerable patient populations, She works collaboratively with nurse leaders in acute care psychiatric facilities both local and international, to create and implement staff development initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes. Her educational research focuses on integrating diverse teaching and evaluation methodologies to enhance student learning in the classroom and clinical settings and faculty mentoring.  She has presented at several national and international, nursing and educational conferences.
